BCCI reveals 13 people, including two players, ‘infected’ over COVID-19



The rapidly spreading infection across the World has affected the sports world to a great extent. Cricket is a popular sport in India, with fans waiting for IPL every year. This year, the IPL is going to be held in the UAE outside the country due to corona infection. For which stringent security arrangements have been made. Despite this, 13 IPL-linked people in the UAE have been found to be corona-infected. This was stated by the Cricket Board of India (BCCI).

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed that all the participants who are going to be part of the IPL team in uae have been given corona tests. According to BCCI, 13 people, including 2 players, have been found corona-infected in 1,988 RT-PCR tests conducted in uae.

A tweet from the official Twitter account of IPL, I have been told that all the participants who came to participate in ipl between August 20 and 28 in uae were given corona tests. A total of 1,988 RT-PCR tests have found 13 people corona infected, including two players. The Corona Test was conducted comprising players from all teams participating in ipl, BCCI members, associate members, IPL steering team, team management, hotel and stadium traffic members.

Bcci says that as per the health and safety protocols of UAE IPL 2020 due to corona, people found to be corona infected have been isolated with immediate effect. At the same time, all those who have come in contact with them have also been kept in isolation. At the same time, BCCI has informed that all participants will continue to have corona tests regularly during IPL in UAE.
